WE´RE ALL TOO BUSY! THAT´S WHY YOU NEED TO BE INVOLVED IN WCHA. Busy people are productive people. We have a good lifestyle in Wolf Creek because our neighbors are productive citizens. We need for you to bring that same drive and ingenuity to our neighborhood needs. We need energetic, youthful thinking people with bright ideas. We need people who take civic responsibility seriously people like you. Would you do me a favor? Saturday morning, grab a cup of coffee and retreat to your deck or favorite area. Be sure to take a pen and scratch pad with you. Then, jot down some ideas about how we can work to make Wolf Creek an even better place to live, enjoy and raise our children. Let your imagination run wild no idea is too far out. Then, bring your ideas with you to our next WCHA meeting April 10th at the South Library on 101st. The meeting is just an hour starting at 7 p.m. We really need your attendance, your attention, your ideas and your participation as an involved dues-paying member. If you can´t make the meeting we really want you to come you can e-mail your ideas to kenscrivner@wolfcreekba.com or the old way to the old guy, Ken Scrivner, 2905 South Aspen Court, BA 74012

WOLF CREEK PLANT CO-OP TO BEGIN
We have the space, a plot of land made available by David Griffin in his private park. We have our resident plant experts, Pat and Bruce Barrios. What we need now is plants that need a little care plants that you may have too many of in your own yard. What kind of plants do we need? Hostas, Monkey Grass, Day Lillies, Irises, Box Hedges, small flowering trees, etc. Why do we need you extra plants? We'd like to use them to beautify our entrances, spots in Wolf Creek Park, corner areas, and wherever there is space to provide natural beauty for the enjoyment of our Wolf Creek neighbors and visitors. Please give us a call at 451-6135. We'll get back with you to arrange a pick-up time. Thanks for your involvement.

CURRENT NEWS
ATTENTION DOG OWNERS---BA HAS AN INFORCABLE LEASH LAW
If your dog is out in public, it must be on a leash and under control. That's the law. Violators are subject to a hefty fine if caught. And the law applies to cat owners as well. A recent spate of pit bull attacks on Wolf Creek residents necessitates the need for your strait adherence. No cat attacks have been reported.
If you own a pit bull or any other aggressive-natured dog, please keep it behind your fence, or on a leash when out in public.
Yard of the Month Awards
Yard of the Month honors for August, 2007 - go to Laurie and Matt Cain of the 3000 block on West Canton. Their yard looks like something you’d find in Home and Garden Magazine. It is a profusion of rich, dense color that dazzles in the hot August sun. Says Laurie, “I tell him the colors I like and where to put them, and he does the rest. It’s obvious that Matt does the rest quite well. The Cains moved to Wolf Creek from Indiana in 1989, and are involved in Wolf Creek and Broken Arrow activities.
Yard of the Month honors for July, 2007 - Meet Harold McCoy, Wolf Creek Yard of the Month recipient for July 2007. Anyone driving by his home almost always does a double-take because of the pristine appearance and condition of his yard and flowerbeds. Harold is Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Tulsa, and a 35-year employee of the Tulsa Fire Department. He has lived at 3401 South Elder for 21 years. Congrats Harold, for making Wolf Creek a more beautiful place to live.
Volunteer of the Month
Volunteer of the Month-August 2007 - Meet Matt Cain, a Tulsa Firefighter, and 18-year resident of Wolf Creek. Matt is the one who keeps the perimeter streets surrounding Wolf Creek and its entrances nicely mowed and edged. A lot of times, you’ll see Matt mowing the overgrown yards of vacant homes—his way of keeping Wolf Creek looking nice. A big “Thanks” Matt, for all you do.
Meet the New Covenants Coordinators
Jerry & Helen Tener - Longtime Wolf Creek residents, Jerry and Helen Tener have taken over as the WCHA Covenants Coordinators. Their deep concern for the neighborhood prompted their decision to volunteer. Their duties include writing courtesy letters to those who violate the Wolf Creek Covenants, and contacting the City of Broken Arrow Code Enforcement Division when necessary to assure compliance. Thanks, Jerry and Helen, For your willingness to serve in this needed position.
